Milky Chance “Flashed Junk Mind”
Just discovered this German duo and I’m loving what I’m hearing so far. Milky Chance has a very unique sound combining reggae, folk, pop, and electro genres. Best friends since the 11th grade, Philipp and Clemens have this to say about their evolving sound, “Think of it as the singer-songwriter spirit mixed with electronic beats. Somehow, it’s always a little bit melancholy, but there’s a positive spin. You can dance to most of it too! Melancholy is something that I carry within me. I write the best songs when this mood catches me.”

A Gloomy Tuesday with Radiohead
Coinciding with the dismal weather today in Buffalo, NY I’m going to slow it down a bit with two songs from Radiohead’s album, “In Rainbows.” There are very few albums that you can listen to straight through without skipping a track. This is one of them. Thom Yorke is an absolute genius. You can really feel the emotional intensity every time he plays. Take a look:
